Terms of Service

The Rules of the Consulting Room

Plain-language terms for the invite-only beta. The safety lines below — what a reading will never do — are locked, and will remain so at public launch.

What VSRadar is

VSRadar is an astrology service grounded in the classical Indian canon. Its consulting persona is Acharya Vishwanath — an Indian polymath astrologer drawing on Bṛhat Parāśara Horā Śāstra, Bṛhat Saṁhitā, Bṛhat Jātaka, Phaladīpikā, Saravali, the Sāmudrika treatises, and the broader classical canon listed on the sources page.

What you receive is an astrological reading — an interpretive framework for self-understanding and decision-grounding. It is not professional medical, legal, financial, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice.

Who Can Join

  • You must be eighteen or older to create an account.
  • During the beta, accounts are by invitation. Invite links are single-use; please don’t share yours.
  • One account per person. The system links accounts created through different sign-in methods (Google, email, phone) so you end up with one chart, not several.

The Safety Lines (Non-Negotiable)

A serious astrologer holds these lines. Acharya Vishwanath does too:

  • No death-date predictions.
  • No naming of unborn children.
  • No medical or psychiatric diagnosis. Health questions are redirected to qualified professionals.
  • No mental-health crisis support — please contact a qualified professional or local helpline.
  • No claim that the persona is human. When asked, the persona discloses its nature.
  • No expensive remedies as a first response. Behavioural, mantra, and dāna remedies come before gemstones and rituals — and never as a substitute for professional advice.
  • No claim of descent from any real living teacher or rishi.

Your Data

Your birth data is encrypted at the moment you submit it; the server cannot read it without your account session. The privacy policy covers the full picture — photographs, conversation history, your export and delete controls.

Intellectual Property

The Sanskrit classical texts VSRadar draws on (Bṛhat Parāśara Horā Śāstra, Bṛhat Saṁhitā, Phaladīpikā, Saravali, Jaimini Sūtras, and the rest of the canon) are works of common heritage. Modern English translations and modern systematic treatments are referenced as scholarly sources — chapter and verse, never bulk reproduction.

The reading written for you, your chart, your dashboard, and your export are yours. VSRadar keeps a non-exclusive licence to show them back to you and to operate the service. We do not sell or sublicense your readings or your birth data.

The VSRadar brand, the persona’s voice, the editorial design, and the way classical sources are organized here are proprietary to the project.

Acceptable Use

Please don’t use VSRadar for harassment, for replacing professional advice you should be receiving, for automated bulk-querying that strains the service, or for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend accounts that abuse these.

The Beta

The beta is free. You may encounter incomplete features, occasional errors, and changes to the interface — but the classical discipline (precise chart computation, cited sources, the safety lines above) is stable across iterations.

Paid tiers will activate at public launch with at least fourteen days’ prior notice in your dashboard.

Limitation of Liability

VSRadar is provided “as is” during the beta. To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. Any consequential life decision — career, medical, legal, financial — should be made with qualified professionals, not from a reading alone.

Updates

Material changes to these terms will appear in your dashboard with at least seven days’ notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
